Microwave Chocolate Mug Cake
Servings: 1
Ingredients
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 tablespoon water
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Step 1: Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a large microwave-safe mug; stir in milk, canola oil, water, and vanilla extract.
Step 2: Cook in microwave until cake is done in the middle, about 1 minute 45
Lemon Mug Cake
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- ⅓ cup milk
- ⅓ cup light brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon olive oil
- 1 small egg
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- butter for greasing
Directions:
Step 1: Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Whisk together milk, brown sugar, olive oil, egg, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a separate bowl. Add milk mixture to flour mixture and stir until batter is well combined, leaving a few lumps.
Step 2: Grease a large microwave-safe mug with butter. Pour batter into the mug. Microwave for 3 minutes. Remove and leave to set for 5 minutes.
Birthday Cake Mug Cake by: Tasty
Ingredients for 1 serving:
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon sprinkles, plus more for topping
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- whipped topping, for topping, optional
Preparation:
- In a 12-ounce (375 ml) or larger mug, mix all ingredients until just combined.
- Microwave on high for 90 seconds to 2 minutes, watching to make sure it doesn’t spill over (depending on the size of the mug).
- Let cool one minute before eating. Top with whipped topping and sprinkles (optional).
- Enjoy!
