Overview

The Day Center Operations Lead supports the daily operations of the adult day center, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care while maintaining strong systems, clear communication, and consistency in practice. This role functions as the on-the-floor operational lead, directing staff workflow, addressing real-time issues, and escalating clinical or personnel concerns as needed. responsible for reinforcing workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping the team operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The Operations Lead strengthens team alignment by distinguishing systems issues from performance issues, providing real‑time operational guidance, and collaborating with clinical and program leaders to ensure appropriate decision‑making and escalation.


Responsibilities

Operations Leadership

  • Oversee daily program flow to ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment
  • Reinforce established systems, routines, and operational standards
  • Identify operational gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Conduct building readiness and safety checks


Facilities, Supplies & Infection Control

  • Manage bathroom workflows and sanitation routines
  • Oversee supply ordering, processing, and inventory management

Emergency Preparedness & Incident Response

  • Lead emergency readiness efforts, including drills and staff participation
  • Ensure member and staff preparedness for emergency procedures

    Team Support & On-Floor Guidance

    Provide real time support to staff during program hours
  • Model best practices in dementia care, communication, and engagement
  • Reinforce expectations and promote consistency across the team

Communication & Alignment

Participant Care & Experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, healthcare, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4 years of experience in adult day services, dementia care, or similar setting
  • Strong understanding of operational systems and workflow management
  • Experience working in team-based environments with multiple stakeholders

Overview

The Development Coordinator plays a key role in advancing CarePartners’ mission by leading the development and execution of strategic communications, marketing initiatives, and events. This position is responsible for creating compelling, mission-driven content across multiple platforms—including digital, print, and social media—to raise awareness, engage supporters, and highlight program impact.


Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications (70%)

  • Create and produce the organization’s communications and marketing materials to support key programs and strategic initiatives. These include monthly newsletters, email communications, event promotions, flyers, annual report, and website content.
  • Develop and manage social media content that highlights participant stories, caregiver impact, and program outcomes. Includes posts and short videos/reels on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram).
  • Manage and grow CarePartners’ social media presence with engaging, mission-driven content.
  • Capture photos, videos, and testimonials to support storytelling efforts.
    Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote CarePartners’ programs and services.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
    Maintain and update the organization’s website with current and relevant content.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation and performance tracking.
  • Draft press releases, media pitches, and organizational announcements.
    Maintain event calendars, marketing content schedules, and requests.


Events & Development (30%)

  • Help plan and execute fundraising events, community outreach events, and other organization events.
  • Help coordinate logistics, including venue, vendors, sponsorships, timelines, and volunteer support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event partners and participants.
    Manage event budgets and track expenses.
  • Other administrative duties as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or nonprofit development.


Required Skills

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and digital campaigns.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, email communication.
  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools.


Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact)
  • Basic photography and/or videography skills.
  • Experience with website management (e.g., WordPress)


Work Environment

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with seniors, individuals with disabilities, families, and team members
  • Prior experience assisting with ADLs and working in long-term or home & community care settings is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage schedules efficiently while adapting to changing needs of participants
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life for older adults living with cognitive impairments
  • Relevant certifications in caregiving, social work, or dementia care are a plus
